what went well


the things that i feel went well in this project is the backup images, without them there won't be many images within the website as plans were cancelled.


the images i used worked well with the websites topic and the information i got from the client really helped me when making the website as otherwise i would have struggled even more with making it.


i got a comment saying that having the borders in the background made the website look like a comic book which i agreed with.


i think that with the editing i did on the images i took/ received went really well as i ended up making them look warmer and brighter which i felt worked well with the product/ company to show that the company is also warm.


what i could improve:


things i feel that i could improve is my time management, as some of the actual deadlines for some things i only just made them which did make me fall behind on some of the things we were supposed to do.


i also feel that i could have been better with the planning with my client as some of the plans we made had to be cancelled due to safety reasons and the fact that he was at a different site.


due to the plans being cancelled i couldn't get all of the images i wanted to, so i did have to adapt to use other images taken by close family of my uncles work as well as ask people who know more about my clients work for info as my client wasn't very vocal in what he does specifically.


what did i learn from this project:


from this project i learnt to work to the preferences of a client and work with him to create a website he would like.


also in this project i learnt how to use wix to make a website, previously in my GCSE ICT exam we had to make a website and the app we used made it confusing and difficult, and using wix was much easier to use.

Very nice layout! Everything is neat and tidy, very modern design. You could consider a lighter font colour on the grey.

DARCEY:

Love the layout, colours work well at the bottom on the contact bit you need capital letters but other than that, its all good!

JADE:

Really great design, gives plenty of information to the viewer if perhaps just a little too much. Love how there is plenty of images for a wide variety of work. Also nice colours. as mentioned before Capital letters, thought to be fair i did this too haha.

Amanda:

Layout and picture design is very modern and well thought out.  It explains very in depth what the company does and how they achieve it.  It should be used for the company to promote the business and i would think he would be very proud of what has be achieved.



based on the final comments i received, next time i will work on the amount of text and make sure to have proper (grammar as in capital letters) and make sure the text is visible.



overall with this project i think that the final website went better than i expected as there was a lot of things that didn't go to plan, but the part which i struggled with was the blogger as i like to work on the final product and focus on it so i didn't really work on the blogger all that much so i didn't get many screen shots or many half of the project comments unfortunately.
